Tomorrow, Tuesday 20 March 2012, Western Cape MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde will deliver a speech at the CapaCITi 1000 Business Analysis and Systems Analysis (BASA) 2012 Programme Launch.
The CapaCITi 1000 programme, a Western Cape Government co-funded project, is designed to grow the Western Cape’s pool of business analysts by training and mentoring unemployed graduates in order to meet this industry’s skills shortage. To-date, 97% of the programme’s graduates are now employed in the industry. Previously the industry was forced to acquire these skills from other countries.
MEC Winde will speak on the topic: “Growing Skills in Partnership makes us Better Together”. There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
