The Department of Water Affairs would like to invite you and a photographer to a media briefing at a Conference on Water and Poverty Alleviation.
About 500 delegates, including academics, researchers, civil society, rural communities, will be addressed by Ms Rejoice Mabudafhasi, MP, Deputy Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs and eThekwini Mayor, Mr Obed Mlaba.
The conference will also discuss progress made towards the achievement of the millennium development goals.
The event will also be attended by delegates from the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) which has which has funded the department's Integrated Water Resource Management with a view to alleviate poverty in rural South Africa.
