Minister Naledi Pandor hosts New Zealand counterpart in Cape Town, 4 Aug

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor, will host the Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand,

It is expected that the two Ministers will discuss bilateral relations between South Africa and New Zealand as well as the situation in Africa, Ukraine-Russia, women epowerment, science and technology, nuclear disarmament and UN Security Council reform.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1994, South Africa and New Zealand have signed nine agreements. Additionally, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on Bilateral Cooperation will be signed by the two Ministers.

New Zealand's ties with South Africa range from trade and tourism; agriculture; disarmament; fisheries; environment; indigenous and human rights issues as well as sports.
