Iranian Speaker, Dr Ali Ardeshir Larijani to visit Parliament and meet Presiding Officers
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr Ali Ardehir Larijani is scheduled to visit Parliament tomorrow, Wednesday, 5 March 2014.
Dr Larijani, who will be accompanied by the Iranian ambassador to South Africa and several members of his Parliament, will hold a bilateral meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Max Sisulu. He will also visit the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, Mr Mninwa Mahlangu.
On the same day the Deputy President of the Republic, Kgalema Motlanthe, will be replying to oral questions in the National Assembly and Dr Larijani and his delegation will attend the sitting. Dr Larijani’s visit tomorrow is in reciprocation of the visit by Mr Sisulu to the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2010.

15h00 - Speakers Bay upon recognition of HE Dr Larijani.
