President Zuma on a working visit to Angola

President Jacob Zuma will undertake a Working Visit to Luanda, in the Republic of Angola, on 23 August 2013 for consultations with the President of the Republic of Angola, His Excellency José Eduardo Dos Santos, and the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), His Excellency Joseph Kabila Kabanga.

The consultation is a follow-up to a meeting held by the three Presidents on 12 March 2013 in Luanda. The three Heads of State are expected to discuss a range of issues relating to peace and stability in the region, particularly the current peace efforts in the DRC.

President Zuma will be accompanied by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Maite Nkoana Mashabane; Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula; Minister of State and Security, Dr Siyabonga Cwele; Minister of Police, Mr Nathi Mthethwa; Minister of Energy, Mr Ben Martins, and Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Lechesa Tsenoli.
