The Deputy Minister plans to visit the Xhariep District on 27th and 28th October 2011.The engagements will involve site visits to the best, average and worst performing health facilities in and around the Xhariep area.
The Deputy Minister will be interacting with health workers, health facility management and community and other stakeholders in an effort to understand the successes and the challenges facing these facilities and the community as a whole.

09:00 – 10:00 Breakfast Briefing of Deputy Minister at Diamant District Hospital in Jagersfontein.
Attending: Head of Department and delegation: Dr S Kabane and District Management (Kopanong and Letsemeng local areas) led by Mrs P Tshegare management and health workers at Diamant District Hospital in Jagersfontein and with representatives of the governance structures in the district (Hospital boards and clinic committees.)
