The SA National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) located at the Department of Basic Education is coordinating a one day national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) workshop, as part of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) - wide survey on TVET.
Under the Framework of UNESCO’s Capacity Development to achieve Education for All and the African Union’s Second Decade of Education in Africa, UNESCO and the Secretariat of the SADC have entered into a partnership to carry out a regional study on TVET, to be conducted in the SADC member states.
