Media are cordially invited to join Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele, Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) Group CEO Mr Lucky Montana and other senior government officials at the formal launch of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for new rail rolling stock, amounting to more than R100 bn.
The launch of the RFP will mark the start of the procurement of new rolling stock (new trains) over the next 20 years, as we change passenger rail travel in South Africa for future generations.
