Deputy Minister of Transport Mrs Sindisiwe Chikunga will tomorrow, 19 July 2012 join the memorial service to mourn the loss of lives of 25 farm workers who were killed in a tragic rail crossing crash between a truck and a goods train in Mpumalanga last week on Friday.
Nineteen (19) people were confirmed dead at the scene of the accident when the horrific crash happened. A total of 25 people died as a result of the crash, with some of the victims still in hospitals across the province.
On Monday, 17 July 2012 Deputy Minister Chikunga visited the families of the bereaved together with Acting Transport Minister Malusi Gigaba in the KaMhlushwa area of the province.
Deputy Minister Chikunga will convey condolences to the families of the bereaved during the memorial service to be held tomorrow.
