The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is encouraging schools to create an environment for young learners to lead.
The department and the Western Cape Education Foundation will be hosting a forum on Saturday, 17 March 2012, at Grand West, to learn and share knowledge about the key essentials for successful youth leadership development.
Keynote speakers include Gordon Metter, Deputy President of the Cape Chamber of Commerce, who will talk about shaping the skills required for tomorrow’s business leaders.
Settlers High School and Manzomthombo Secondary School will share initiatives at their respective institutions to create opportunities for learners to lead.
