Members of the Media are invited to witness the swearing in of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the National House of Traditional Leaders (NHTL).
The Deputy Judge President of the High Court in Gauteng, Judge Willem van der Merwe, will swear in the leadership of the House which has been without incumbents in these two positions since a sitting of the House in September 2010 passed a vote of no confidence against its top leadership.
The Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Sicelo Shiceka will lead the proceedings, and deliver a short address that will focus on a range of issues, including the leadership trends in the House over the years.
