Strengthening social cohesion and nation building: CRL Rights Commission participates and supports the Northern Cape Chapter 9 Forum as part of International Mandela Month on 11 July 2012

The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) will participate and conduct outreach activity with other Chapter 9 institutions as part of International Mandela month with its cultural, religious and language communities on the 11th of July 2012, 9 am to 5 pm at Loeriesfontein and Nieuwoudtville in the Namakwa District of Northern Cape province.

The outreach and presentation to the marginalised communities in the Northern Cape within the view of the CRL Rights Commission coincides with International Mandela month, social cohesion and nation building initiatives.

The human rights advocacy and outreach activities will include presentation by the high level leadership of the CRL Rights Commission, sharing, distributing promotional material and information on various programmes of the CRL Rights Commission.

The outreach visit by the Commission reflects on the willingness of reaching marginalised communities and furthering promotion and protection of cultural, religious and language rights of communities.
