Acting Gauteng Premier, Mandla Nkomfe and Statistician-General of Statistics South Africa Pali Lehohla will on Tuesday, 30 November 2010 launch Gauteng Census 2011 public awareness campaign.
A population census is a massive undertaking in the country that assist government in planning, decision-making, monitoring and evaluation of its programmes and policies.
The launch will take place as follows:

The launch, which forms part of the Census 2011 public awareness campaign in the province, will provide detailed information on the deployment of 120 000 fieldworkers to be used during the population Census in 2011.
