The Eastern Cape provincial legislature will hold discussions on the State of the Province Address tabled by the honorable premier of the province Ms Noxolo Kiviet on Friday, 17 February 2012.
The rationale behind this discussion is to scrutinize the premier’s speech and discuss the plans of the provincial government in shaping a better province going forward. Furthermore, the house will also discuss two bills namely:
- Consideration of Eastern Cape rural development corporation bill and
- Consideration of Eastern Cape general law amendment bill.
The esteemed members of the media are therefore invited to attend and cover these important discussions as they are of public interest.
