The North West Provincial Legislature’s Speaker’s office invites all members of the media for a formal briefing about the Legislature’s state of readiness to host the official opening of the North West Provincial Legislature and State of the Province Address.
The briefing will be held in the Legislature, Speaker’s Office Board Room on Wednesday, 1 February 2012 at 10h00.
The Speakers’ Office will also brief members of the media about the reasons the event is moved to the North West University, Mafikeng Campus’ Great Hall.
Legislature will pay tribute to all liberation movements, including the ruling party’s 100 years as a liberation movement. All freedom fighters from Mahikeng and across the province will also be honoured during the event.
