The Standing Committee on Public Accounts will visit various courts in the Gauteng Province to carry out oversight on the third party funds (TPF), that are managed by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
The committee will visit the Johannesburg, Protea (Soweto) and Pretoria Magistrate’s Courts. These visits follow those that were undertaken by the committee in March this year in KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Gauteng has also been identified as one the provinces facing serious challenges in this regard.
