The North West Provincial Legislature’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts will have a meeting with the Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, and the Department of Finance on Tuesday, 14 August 2012 at 14h00.
The Committee is calling the two departments to come up with interventions to assist the municipalities with regard to the poor performance in the audit outcomes of the North West Local Government for the 2010/11 financial year.
On Wednesday, 15 August, the Committee will have a public hearing for Ratlou Local Municipality at 10h00. The municipality is coming to respond on questions posed by the Committee to them regarding their financial statements.
Both meetings will be at Committee Room 2, Legislature building.
