Sports and Recreation Minister Fikile Mbalula to interact with stakeholders in Free State

As an integral part of widening the reach of government’s messages, GCIS provincial and district offices, are currently hosting a series of stakeholder engagement sessions. These sessions are aimed at augmenting the reach and comprehension of government messages through face-to-face engagements between Government and members of the public with bias towards a targeted audience. One of the defining features of this administration has been epitomized by the President since 2009 through an unmediated and direct communication vehicle.

The purpose of these sessions is to afford stakeholders an opportunity to engage on the President’s articulation of government priorities and plans and to find ways of collaborating with government in implementation of some of the plans.

This Stakeholder engagement will provide stakeholders with an appropriate platform to gain firsthand information and experience on the Departments of Sports and Recreation interventions and undertakings for 2012.

Minister Mbalula will then as part of his outreach programme proceed to Batho Primary School where he will officially hand over a Multi-Purpose Sports Court

You are therefore invited to attend the session to interact directly with Minister Fikile Mbalula and also witness the Hand-over ceremony hosted by Sports Trust and Pareto Limited.
