Sport and Recreation South Africa and GTZ, a German Development
Cooperation, will on Tuesday, 25 May 2010, launch a world cup programme called "The 2010 Legacy Partnership".

The launch will cover the full scope of the German 2010 FIFA World Cup
Cooperation, which includes the 2010 related legacy projects funded by the partnership and will be held as follows:

Sport and Recreation South Africa will be represented by its Director-General, Mr Vernie Petersen while GTZ will be represented by its country Director, Mr Peter Conze.
There will also be senior representatives from various other German organisations such as the KfW, a German Development Bank, Youth Development through Football (YDF) and the German embassy as well as the European Union.
