Sport and Recreation South Africa will on Saturday, 22 October 2011, issue various sporting equipment covering rugby, netball, soccer, cricket, and athletics, to schools in the Eastern Cape.
This follows identification of the need for equipment during the Eastern Cape Presidential visit of 7 June 2011. The schools are: Minenkulu High, Lower Mgwalana Primary, Sobantu High, and Ntloko Primary.
The event will be held as follows:
Date: Saturday, 22 October 2011
Venue: Minenkulu High School, Ntloko Village in Peddie
Time: The event will start with a 7.5 km fun run, which will be followed by a formal programme at 12h00.
Sport and Recreation Minister, Mr Fikile Mbalula, is expected to grace the occasion.
