Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Richard Baloyi will on Sunday lead a special community meeting between Lesedi Local Municipality and Ratanda residents to report back progress on government’s intervention to end the recent service delivery protests in the area.
Journalists are invited to attend the community meeting which will be held as follows:

The Sunday meeting follows various consultations already held with the community to resolve the service delivery protests which resulted to the burning down of some council members’ houses and government property.
The special meeting will also give a progress report on investigations that have been done to restore public order.
