On Friday, 30 September 2011, the South African Air Force (SAAF) will hold a media briefing at Air Force Base Waterkloof Officers’ Mess, in Pretoria, at 8h00.
Chief of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Carlo Gagiano will brief the media on the strategic overview of SAAF, Lifespan of C130, relationship between SAAF and the aviation industries, Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) 2012 and Air Force Base Waterkloof Air Show.
This media breakfast takes place preceding the Capability Air Show which is scheduled to commence on Saturday, 1 October 2011, at Air Force Base Waterkloof. The Air Show is done to showcase preparations for the forthcoming Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) exhibition to be held around September of 2012, at Air Force Base Waterkloof, which has been previously held at the Air Force Base Ysterplaat in Cape Town since 2004 due to runway and other infrastructural renovations.
