The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu will deliver a keynote address at the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Reserve Force Symposium on Wednesday, 9 September 2009.
The symposium is being hosted by the Chief of Defence Reserves at the Saint George Hotel, Rietvleidam from 9 to 11 September 2009. The theme of this symposium is "Enabling a dynamic and adaptable SANDF Reserve that meets the needs of the South African National Defence Force".
The symposium will be attended by foreign guests from Botswana, Kenya, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Australia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom (UK) and United States of America (USA).
A media conference on the symposium is scheduled to follow directly after the Minister's keynote address.
