South African Joint Air Defence Symposium 2009

The South African Joint Air Defence Symposium (SAJADS) is a prestigious military event that takes place every two years under the auspices of chief joint operations of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), facilitated by Armaments Corporation of South Africa (ARMSCOR).

This year, South African Joint Air Defence Symposium will take place at the CSIR Conference Centre on 14 and 15 October under the theme: ‘Joint Air Defence in Operations Other than War’. Joint cooperation and interoperability are recognised force multipliers and the most complex and advanced command and control issues are addressed during this symposium.

International participation in SAJADS 2009 include papers by expert guest speakers from Botswana, Germany, India and Italy, whilst a broad spectrum of relevant topics will be dealt with by South African subject specialists from the military, defence industry, inclusive of a prominent defence correspondents.
