The Change of Command Parade between Major General Luvuyo Nobanda and Brigadier General Mbulelo Msi will take place on Friday 20 January 2012 at the Military Base Dunnottar at 10h00.
Major General Luvuyo Nobanda will hand over command to Brigadier General Mbulelo Msi who was appointed as the new General Officer Commanding of the South African Army Engineer Formation on 1 November 2011. Major General Nobanda was appointed as the new Chief of Army Force Preparation from 1 November 2011.
The South African Army Engineer Formation is responsible for enhancing mobility and survivability for its own forces. Its current projects include support to the Extended Public Works Programme of the Department of Public Works and four bridges were built by military engineer forces in the past two years.
