South African and refugee children discuss xenophobia on Africa Day of the Child

Children representing all provinces of South Africa will meet with a group of refugee children living in Musina, South Africa to discuss various challenges faced by refugee children including xenophobia.

The Children’s Lekgotla will take place in Bela Bela (former Warmbath) in Limpopo tomorrow Saturday, 20 June and it coincides with the observation of the Africa Day of the Child.

Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities Minister, Noluthando Mayende Sibiya is going to address the gathering and outline government response to the challenges faced by refugee children.
