South Africa Mozambique signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on piracy and trans-border crime

The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu and Mozambique’s Defence Minister, Filipe Nyussi, will tomorrow, 1 June 2011, sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on piracy and trans-border crime.

In February this year, 2011, the Cabinet mandated the Department of Defence to put together a strategy to address piracy issues in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) waters.

Ministers, Sisulu and Nyussi are going to brief members of the media as follows:
