The Minister of Social Development Ms Edna Molewa will deliver a keynote address at the Kaelo Responsible Business Summit. The objective of the summit is to provide a platform for sharing and collaboration on the unique social development issues facing the developing world and the role of the business sector. The summit will also focus on how the business sector can contribute positively to the attainment of national and international priorities such as the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the context of the current global financial crisis.
The summit will be attended by business leaders, corporate social responsibility (CSR) practitioners as well as government and development agency representatives in South Africa and across the globe.
