Limpopo MEC for Health and Social Development, Mme Dikeledi Magadzi will today deliver school uniform to needy school kids at Lebogo Primary School, Ga-Kibi as part of social development's role to fight poverty.
The handover ceremony which will also be graced by the presence of Kgoshi Kibi and Capricorn District Mayor, Lawrence Mapoulo will culminate into a "health door-door campaign" visiting particularly TB patients inthe area, including testing and screening of community members by health professionals with the aim of preventing diseases.
"Education play a major role in development and as a department we will continue to support needy school children from poor households and child headed families to encourage them to get educated as an escape route from poverty", Magadzi said.
