The Deputy Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini will on 1 July 2009 address the 17th Biennial conference of the National Association of Child Care Workers (NACCW). The organisation promotes the extension and improvement of social services to vulnerable children and families in disadvantaged areas.
The conference will be held under the theme “Complimentary Social Service Professions integrating to serve children and families”. This theme is relevant to the implementation of the new Children’s Act, which is aimed at benefiting the most vulnerable children in South Africa.
