The Department of International Relations and Cooperation and The Hague
Conference on Private International Law based in the Netherlands will host a seminar to discuss steps to provide an inter-state framework for protecting the basic rights of children enshrined in the United Nations Convention of 20 November 1989 on the Rights of the Child and the African Charter of 1990 on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
