SAPS: Working together to Protect a Child

The media is cordially invited to join the South African Police Service, during the “Take a girl child to work campaign”.

Participation in this campaign, initiated by Cell C, is aimed at exposing girl children to the various career streams within the South African Police Service, positive role models and the opportunity to make informed career decisions based on real work experience.

Learners will also be afforded the opportunity to interact with police officials from various disciplines. They will be taken to various divisions, components and units of the SAPS and be exposed to practical work. The delegation will reconvene at the SAPS Tshwane Training Academy, Community Hall at 12h00 to share their experiences and afford the media another opportunity to conduct interviews.

The Acting National Commissioner of police, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi will address the children and encourage them to pursue their goals and to reach their full potential.
