The Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Bill, among others, aims to promote and protect the physical well being and safety of all persons, and property at sports and recreational events.
The committee, together with the Portfolio Committee on Police, early last month conducted public hearings on the Bill in four provinces: Gauteng, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape.
