On Thursday, 28 June 2012 at 10:00, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Ivan Meyer, together with The South African National Amateur Boxing Organisation (SANABO) and the City of Cape Town will host a media briefing on the upcoming SA Elite Amateur Boxing Championships. The media briefing will be held in the Protea Assurance Building on the 8th Floor situated near Greenmarket Square, Cape Town.
The championship which runs from 4 to 7 July 2012 will take place at the Western Cape Sport School, Nooiensfontein Road, Kuils River.
Boxing has a long history and tradition in the Western Cape and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport and its partners are keen to support what promises to be an exciting boxing championship in which male and female boxers from across the country will have the opportunity to display their talent.Province
