The Department of Environmental Affairs invites you to the final departure of the South Africa’s polar research and supply vessel, the SA Agulhas, this Thursday, 12 April2012.
The SA Agulhas will be sailing of on its final voyage to Marion Island as it is due to be replaced by the new and modern polar vessel in May 2012.
All 21 members of the Marion Island 69 over-wintering team will be present for interviews and picture opportunities.
