The National Treasury and South African Revenue Service (SARS) will tomorrow be releasing the draft 2011 Taxation Laws Amendment Bills for public comment. These Bills give effect to the 2011 Budget Review tax proposals. They are published for public comment before formal introduction in Parliament.
Due to the important and complex nature of the bills, interested journalists will be allowed advance access to the draft Bills, and to interviews with officials, ahead of their release tomorrow. The information from the Bills and interviews will be under embargo until the Bills are released in the afternoon.
