Six hundred and fifty seven (657) offenders across Gauteng province will participate in this year’s Regional Offender Choir Festival which aims to promote rehabilitation through Arts and Culture. Categories include Soloist, Sextet, Female Voice, Male Voice, Mixed Voices, Indigenous, Tradition and Adult Males.
These are men and women who are serving short to long term sentences for various crimes. The offenders will later in the year take part in Choral Music Competition which will be hosted at national level.
