You are cordially invited to a bursary award ceremony on the 13 January 2015, for 2014 matriculants who will pursue built environment careers including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Property Valuation, Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Town Planning.
Public works Minister Thulas Nxesi will be awarding these bursaries to 40 learners, the majority of them coming from schools across the country participating in the Department of Public Works’ schools programme. The Schools Programme is aimed at promoting the teaching of Maths and Science as well as the Built Environment professions. The 15 schools adopted are from different Public Works regional offices.
Each bursary is valued at R120 000 per year and will cover tuition, residential fees including three meals, textbooks, academic projects and resources including monthly allowance.
