Public Protector Advocate Thuli Madonsela will on Tuesday, 10 July 2012, meet with Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng in Pretoria.
The meeting will also serve as a stakeholder introductory meeting between the Public Protector and Chief Justice Mogoeng, who assumed his responsibilities as the Chief Justice and the Chairperson of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) last year.
Among the issued to be discussed, is the work of the Public Protector on matters relating to courts. These include complaints about misplacement of files, delayed appeal applications and other matters.
The Public Protector worked closely with Justice Mogoeng's predecessor, Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo.
