Public Protector Advocate Thulisile Madonsela invites stakeholders to important consultative meetings that will inform the direction of the institution over the next seven years.
This nation-wide process aims to introduce the Public Protector, seek stakeholders’ comments on the Public Protector vision for 2020 and the proposed vision for the next few years and obtain stakeholder views regarding the constitutional and legislative mandate of the Public Protector.
The meetings also seek to establish stakeholder expectations regarding service delivery by the Public Protector and dialogue on stakeholder co-operation to improve the responsiveness of the Public Protector.
Stakeholders may include but are not limited to government departments, local government, state-owned enterprises, other state institutions, traditional leaders, non-governmental organisations, professional bodies, media organisations and members of the public.
