Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will meet key stakeholders including government, political parties, leaders of civic organisations, professional bodies and the media in Johannesburg, Gauteng on Friday, 19 March 2010. The meeting will take place at the Council Chambers, City of Johannesburg at 11h00.
The gathering is a continuation of the seven-week stakeholder consultative process Adv Madonsela embarked upon since early last month. It aims to establish stakeholder expectations regarding service delivery by the Public Protector and discuss stakeholder cooperation to improve the responsiveness of the Public Protector. This process also aims to introduce Adv Madonsela as the new Public Protector and engage stakeholders on the proposed Public Protector Vision 2020, with a view to solicit comments and inputs.
