Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Friday, 17 August 2012, embark on a site inspection in Loco in Lusikisiki. The area falls under the Ingquza Hill Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape.
The inspection follows a complaint lodged by Lusikisiki Hawkers Association (LHA) against the Mayor of Ingquza Hill Local Municipality, Cllr Jongintaba Mdingi.
Members of the association met the Public Protector during the national stakeholder consultative dialogue in East London and called on her to investigation a number of complaints they have against the Ingquza Hill Municipality.
