Public Protector to commemorate Heritage Month in Eastern Cape

Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Thursday, 27 September 2012 lead her office’s commemoration of Heritage Month in Sterkspruit, Eastern Cape.

The event is celebrated under the theme “Embracing diversity in pursuit of accessibility to all persons.”

The event will also double up as an opportunity to bring the services of the Public Protector to the doorsteps of communities of Senqu Local Municipality in the Joe Gqabi District.

The Public Protector will be accompanied by a team of investigators who will register service and conduct failure complaints on site. This is in line with the constitutional injunction for the Public Protector to be accessible to all persons and communities.

The event will be held as follows:
Date: Thursday, 27 September 2012
Time: 10h00
Venue: Benbsonvale College Hall, Sterkspruit, Eastern Cape
