Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Thursday, 24 March 2011 address a commemoration of Human Rights month in Phokeng near Rustenburg.
The event will be held under the theme: “Public Protector and the Realisation of Child Rights in South Africa.”
In line with the theme, the Public Protector’s address will focus on children’s rights. She will later visit a children’s home in Tlhabane, Rustenburg.
The Public Protector will be accompanied by a team of investigators, who will take complaints on government service delivery and conduct at the venue. Locals are urged to bring along supporting documents to back up their complaints.
