Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Green Paper on National Strategic Planning will on Monday, 26 to 27 October hold public hearings on the Green Paper on National Strategic Planning.
The Green Paper is a consultation document setting out a proposed policy position, in this case the position of national government on planning at the centre of government. The Green Paper also deals with institutional framework for planning and describes the outputs of planning.
The public hearings will afford members of the public an opportunity to voice their opinions on the Green Paper. Consequently, this gives the public a chance to have a say on governance issues.
