President Jacob Zuma will host a summit with media owners on Friday, 5 August in Pretoria, as part of the President's on-going consultations with key sectors of society on various sectoral issues.
President Zuma will lead the government delegation in the meeting. The summit will be attended by the chairpersons and chief executive officers of print and electronic media companies, under the leadership of Print Media SA chairperson Prakash Desai and Ms Karen Willenberg, Chairperson of the National Association of Broadcasters.
The high level meeting will discuss amongst other issues the New Growth Path, media development and diversity, promotion of Brand SA and government marketing.
