President Zuma to meet former Chess Champion Gary Kasparov

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 23 March 2012, meet with Dr. Gary Kasparov, a former World Chess Champion, writer, political activist, widely regarded as the greatest chess player of all time, at Mahlamba Ndlopfu.

Dr Kasparov is the President of Kasparov Foundation: Africa. His organisation and Moves For Life have collaborated to open the Africa branch of his Foundation. He is a Chess Grand Master and 13th World Champion.

The President is the Patron of Moves for Life, an organisation dedicated to creating awareness and the promotion of chess amongst school learners as early as in the lowest grades.
