President Jacob Zuma will, tomorrow 6 May 2011, launch the National Rural Youth Service Corps (NARYSEC) programme in Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape.
President Zuma announced the launch in the State of the Nation Address in February as a programme that would recruit and develop young people from rural areas, aged between 18 and 35 years, to provide community service in their own rural communities. The areas of development are those relevant to rural communities and include construction, disaster management amongst others.
