President Jacob Zuma will on Tuesday, 19 April 2011, host the Presidential Labour Summit on job creation.
The Labour Summit will focus on how all role players in the labour industry can partner with government and business in creating jobs in South Africa. Unions representing various sectors will be present at the summit.
In the State of the Nation Address in February, President Zuma stressed the need for government to work with business, labour and the community sectors to make 2011 a year of job creation.
Members of the media are invited to attend the opening session of the summit.
