His Excellency, President Jacob Zuma as chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) will attend the 29th Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government on the 7 to 8 September hosted in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Minister for International Relations and Co-operation (DICO), Ms Maite Nkoane Mashabane will accompany President Zuma. Proceedings of the meeting will start with the meeting of the Organ Troika Summit attended by Heads of States on the 7 September. South Africa is due to handover the Chair to President Joseph Kabila Kabange of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
President Zuma and his delegation will depart for Kinshasa on 6 September.
